(alternatively titled "Over the Edge")
A COMEDY FOR 3 MALE ACTORS
Three men (Sam, Daniel and Tony) go on a two day hike together up a hill, as a memorial to their recently deceased friend, Gareth. Each of the men carries with them an inscribed stone to place as a monument to him at the peak. But they have to get there first, and the climb will be as challenging, unexpected and hilarious as life itself.
THE HILL is a funny and touching new play
about friendship and all its complications..
"A brilliant comedy about male friendship that gives three actors the chance to really shine...There are moments of reflection and emotion,
plus an avalanche of laughter."
"The play is packed with humour -
some lines making you cry with laughter."
"Quilter is a skilled comedy craftsman...His humorous dialogue
plays like a masterful ping-pong game."
"THE HILL" had its world premiere at the Ungelt theatre in Prague
(where it is still running) and has since enjoyed popular productions in
Poland, Puerto Rico and Slovakia (where it was also filmed for live streaming). This season, the show will have its German premiere.
The play requires a cast of three male actors
(in their late 40s, 50s or 60s) and simple sets.
