Mario Lanza was one of the great Hollywood musical stars of the fifties.  Adored by fans worldwide, his films and million selling recordings were among the biggest and most admired of the era.

But Lanza was a charming, witty, troubled and complicated man.  His temper, heavy drinking and insecurities clashed wildly with the beauty and controlled power of his remarkable tenor voice.  Still regarded as one of the great populist and operatic singers of his generation, Lanza is a fascinating character, full of contradictions.

Set during his troubled Las Vegas concerts in 1955, this 6 character play is a compelling and colourful exploration of an extraordinary story.  The show features a dozen of Lanza's greatest songs, ranging from popular hits such as "Be My Love" and "With a Song in my Heart" to great operatic arias including "Vesti La Giubba" "E Luceven le Stele" and "O Sole Mio".
